on three December. In East Devon, the district council mentioned drivers can be
charged £2 for a pay and display ticket at a council-owned car park and
the ticket would be legitimate all day in every other council-run car park.
However, it mentioned it was always the case that its metropolis centre pay and show car parks
have been free if entering after 18:00 GMT.
InTorbay, the council said consumers might pay for an hour's
stay at car parks throughout December. In West Devon, the borough council stated there
would be free parking after 15:00 GMT on Thursday and
Fridays up till Christmas at its automobile parks in Tavistock, Hatherleigh, Chagford and Mill Highway Okehampton. Exeter City Council
said it was not offering any parking reductions for Christmas.
Councils are providing free or diminished-value charges at
their car parks in the days main up to Christmas.
